Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Gaffney Indians (Gaffney, SC) and the host Clover Blue Eagles (Clover, SC), saw Gaffney's basketball squad hold off Clover by a count of 42-41.

With the victory, Gaffney upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Riverside (Greer, SC) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Riverside won 85-69 in their recent non-league challenge against James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC)

Next up, the Blue Eagles play the York Cougars (York, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Clover will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 43-22 non-league loss to High Point Academy (Spartanburg, SC).
