December 14, 2023: Ashland, WI 54806 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Ladysmith Lumberjacks (Ladysmith, WI) and the host Ashland Oredockers (Ashland, WI), saw Ladysmith's basketball squad wallop Ashland by a tally of 69-45.
With the victory, Ladysmith improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks host Barron (Barron, WI) to play the Golden Bears in a Heart O'North challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Golden Bears come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Barron won 77-65 in their recent league challenge against Hayward (Hayward, WI)
Next up, the Oredockers play the Northwestern Tigers (Maple, WI) in a Heart O'North challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Ashland will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 70-67 non-league loss to Baldwin-Woodville (Baldwin, WI).
