Nebraska High School Basketball - Central Valley crushes Elba

December 14, 2023: Elba, NE 68835

Central Valley Cougars (Greeley, NE) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Elba Bluejays (Elba, NE), 56-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Central Valley upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Chambers/Wheeler Central (Chambers, NE) to play the Renegades in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Renegades come into the bout with a record of 0-6. Chambers/Wheeler Central lost 60-33 in their recent non-league bout against Riverside (Cedar Rapids, NE)

Next up, the Bluejays play the St. Edward Beavers (St. Edward, NE) in a D2 District 4 bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Elba will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Beavers come into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 50-43 non-league loss to Burwell (Burwell, NE).
