Virginia High School Basketball - L.C. Bird crushes Richmond City School of the Arts

December 14, 2023: Chesterfield, VA 23832

L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Richmond City School of the Arts Bulldogs (Richmond, VA), 62-9 in a league bout.

With the win, L.C. Bird upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Skyhawks travel to Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Matoaca lost 75-37 in their recent league bout against Hopewell (Hopewell, VA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Cosby Titans (Midlothian, VA) in a Dominion bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Richmond City School of the Arts will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record.
