Virginia High School Basketball - L.C. Bird crushes Richmond City School of the Arts

L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Richmond City School of the Arts Bulldogs (Richmond, VA), 68-16 in a league bout.

With the victory, L.C. Bird upgrades its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Skyhawks host Clover Hill (Midlothian, VA) to play the Cavaliers in a Dominion bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 8-11.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Armstrong Wildcats (Richmond, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Richmond City School of the Arts will attempt to upgrade on its 0-16 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 63-19 non-league win over Thomas Jefferson (Richmond, VA).
