December 14, 2024: Owensboro, KY 42301 The Apollo Eagles (Owensboro, KY) basketball crushed the visiting Crittenden County Rockets (Marion, KY), 82-29 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Butler County for a non-league bout on Monday, December 16. Apollo will play a Bears team coming off a 81-72 non-league loss to Jeffersontown (Louisville, KY). The Bears record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Crittenden County falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Lyon County (Eddyville, KY) to play the Lyons in a District 5 bout on Tuesday, December 17. The Lyons go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Lyon County won 63-58 in their recent non-league bout against Union County (Morganfield, KY)
