Ohio High School Basketball - Defiance thwarts Bryan

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Defiance Bulldogs (Defiance, OH) and the host Bryan Golden Bears (Bryan, OH), observed Defiance's basketball team knock off Bryan by a score of 53-38.

The Bulldogs (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Memorial (St. Marys, OH). The Roughriders come into the Western Buckeye challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Memorial dropped by Celina (Celina, OH), 47-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Bears battle the Pettisville Blackbirds (Pettisville, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 19. Bryan will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Blackbirds come into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 50-25 non-league win over Hicksville (Hicksville, OH).
