North Carolina High School Basketball - Palisades nips Cox Mill

December 14, 2024: Concord, NC 28027

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Palisades Pumas basketball team scored a close 54-52 win over the Cox Mill Chargers.

The Pumas (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Berry (Charlotte, NC). The Cardinals come into the 4A South Meck contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Berry edged West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC), 64-48, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Chargers battle the West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC) in a 4A Greater Metro contest, on Friday, December 20. Cox Mill will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Wolverines come into the contest with a 4-4 record after their 60-49 league win over South Iredell (Statesville, NC).
