The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) and the visiting West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC), observed Cox Mill's basketball team knock off West Cabarrus by a score of 73-64.

The Chargers (8-10) will now prepare for their challenge against A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Wonders come into the 4A Greater Metro challenge with a 4-15 record. In their last challenge, A.L. Brown was knocked off by Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC), 87-50, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolverines encounter the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) in a 4A Greater Metro challenge, on Thursday, January 30. West Cabarrus will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record. The Ragin' Bulls come into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 74-55 league loss to Mooresville (Mooresville, NC).
