In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Harding County Ranchers basketball team scored a close 64-60 triumph over the Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers.

The Ranchers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Sundance (Sundance, WY). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Sundance nipped Kemmerer (Kemmerer, WY), 65-46, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Golddiggers confront the Newell Irrigators (Newell, SD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Lead-Deadwood will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
