February 11, 2025: Lead, SD 57754 The Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers (Lead, SD) basketball crushed the visiting Bison Cardinals (Bison, SD), 65-35 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Golddiggers now possess a 7-10 record. They play next when they host Rapid City Christian for a A Region 8 bout on Thursday, February 13. Lead-Deadwood will play a Comets team coming off a 77-36 league win over Belle Fourche (Belle Fourche, SD). The Comets record now stands at 15-2.
With the loss, Bison falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Friday, February 14. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 4-13. Herreid/Selby lost 77-38 in their recent league bout against Sully Buttes (Onida, SD)
