South Dakota High School Basketball - Dupree holds off Lead-Deadwood
December 27, 2024: Dupree, SD 57623 The Dupree Tigers basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers to 55 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now have a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Bison for a B Region 8 game on Thursday, January 2. Dupree will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 53-27 non-league loss to Jones County (Murdo, SD). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Lead-Deadwood falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Golddiggers travel to Kadoka (Kadoka, SD) to confront the Kougars in a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. The Kougars go into the game with a record of 1-1.
