In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Hug Hawks basketball team scored a big 58-27 triumph over the Dayton Dust Devils.

The Hawks (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Eureka (Eureka, NV). The Vandals go into the non-league contest with a 8-0 record. In their last contest, Eureka smashed Smith Valley (Smith, NV), 56-20, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Dust Devils confront the South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 19. Dayton will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record.
