Georgia High School Basketball - Woodland holds off Locust Grove
December 14, 2024: Locust Grove, GA 30248 The Woodland Wolfpack basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Locust Grove Wildcats to 44 in the Wolfpack non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wolfpack now have a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Heritage for a non-league game on Monday, December 16. Woodland will confront a Patriots team coming off a 70-63 non-league loss to Rockdale County (Conyers, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Locust Grove falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Hampton (Hampton, GA) to face the Hornets in a non-league match on Monday, December 16. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 2-6.
