Georgia High School Basketball - Locust Grove holds off Hampton
December 16, 2024: Locust Grove, GA 30248 The Locust Grove Wildcats basketball squad scored 42 points and held the visiting Hampton Hornets to 36 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Monday.
With the victory, Locust Grove advances its record to 7-3 on the year. The Wildcats host Stockbridge (Stockbridge, GA) to face the Tigers in a match on Wednesday, December 18. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 1-6. Stockbridge lost 49-41 in their recent league match against Union Grove (McDonough, GA)
The Hornets now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dutchtown for a non-league match on Monday, January 6.
