Washington, DC High School Basketball - Parkside can't hold off Banneker

December 15, 2022: Washington, DC 20019

The Banneker Bulldogs basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Parkside Eagles to 46 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ballou for a DCSAA A contest on Monday, December 19. Banneker will battle a Knights team coming off a 56-45 league win over Bell (Washington, DC). The Knights record now stands at 1-7.

The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against McKinley Tech (Washington, DC). The Trainers come into the non-league bout with a 8-1 record.
