The Ridge Red Devil basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Hillsborough Raiders to 53 in the Red Devil non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Red Devil now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hoboken for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Ridge will battle a Redwings team coming off a 55-50 league win over McNair Academic (Jersey City, NJ). The Redwings record now stands at 1-0.

The Raiders (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Irvington (Irvington, NJ). The Blue Knights enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
