The Venture Academy Mustangs (Stockton, CA) basketball knocked off the host Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA), 77-57 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Bradshaw Christian (Sacramento, CA). The The Pride go into the non-league test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Bradshaw Christian notched a victory over Stevenson (Pebble Beach, CA), 58-52, in a non-league test.

The Bears now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Stevenson for a non-league test on Friday, December 16. Mt. Shasta will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 58-52 non-league loss to Bradshaw Christian (Sacramento, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 4-2.
