The Riverview Pirates basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host St. Mary Catholic Central Falcons/Kestrels to 40 in the Pirates league victory on Thursday.

The Pirates now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dearborn for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Riverview will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 65-45 non-league loss to Grand Haven (Grand Haven, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-1.
