Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Riverview Pirates (Riverview, MI) and the host Grosse Ile Red Devils (Grosse Ile, MI), saw Riverview's basketball squad knock off Grosse Ile by a count of 49-41.

With the victory, Riverview upgrades its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Pirates host Milan (Milan, MI) to play the Big Reds in a Huron challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Big Reds come into the challenge with a record of 3-11. Milan lost 58-42 in their recent league challenge against Airport (Carleton, MI)
