The Jefferson Area Falcons (Jefferson, OH) basketball knocked off the visiting McKinley Red Dragons (Niles, OH), 47-32 in Thursday's league test.

The Falcons (2-5) will now prepare for their test against St. John (Ashtabula, OH). The Fighting Herald go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, St. John went down by Bristol (Bristolville, OH), 67-41, in a league test.

The Red Dragons now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to South Range for a Northeast Eight test on Monday, December 19. McKinley will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 47-26 league loss to Poland Seminary (Poland, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 2-3.
