Girard Indians (Girard, OH) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host McKinley Red Dragons (Niles, OH), 60-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Girard upgrades its record to 15-6 on the season. The Indians host Badger (Kinsman, OH) to play the Braves in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 9. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 18-3. Badger won 43-28 in their recent league bout against Chalker (Southington, OH)

Next up, the Red Dragons play the Lordstown Red Devils (Warren, OH) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. McKinley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-18 season record.
