California High School Basketball - Verdugo Hills overwhelmed by Taft

December 15, 2022: Tujunga, CA 91042

The Taft Toreadors basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host Verdugo Hills Dons to 28 in the Toreadors non-league victory on Thursday.

The Toreadors now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arleta for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Taft will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 55-21 non-league win over Van Nuys (Van Nuys, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-8.

The Dons (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Chavez (San Fernando, CA). The Eagles come into the East Valley contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Chavez triumphed over Monroe (North Hills, CA), 28-15, in a league contest.
