California High School Basketball - Taft nips Poly

December 27, 2022: Woodland Hills, CA 91364

Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA), 47-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Taft upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Toreadors travel to Panorama (Panorama City, CA) to play the Pythons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Pythons go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Panorama lost 36-34 in their recent league bout against Van Nuys (Van Nuys, CA)

Next up, the Parrots play the Granada Hills Charter Highlanders (Granada Hills, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Poly will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Highlanders go into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 46-43 non-league win over La Salle (Pasadena, CA).
