California High School Basketball - Taft thwarts Arleta

The Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA) basketball knocked off the host Arleta Mustangs (Arleta, CA), 38-25 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Toreadors (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Panorama (Panorama City, CA). The Pythons go into the non-league test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Panorama went down by Van Nuys (Van Nuys, CA), 36-34, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Birmingham for a non-league test on Monday, December 26. Arleta will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 60-50 non-league win over Louisville (Woodland Hills, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 5-5.
