December 15, 2023: Perry, OK 73077 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Alva Goldbugs (Alva, OK) and the host Perry Maroons (Perry, OK), saw Alva's basketball squad wallop Perry by a tally of 71-45.
With the victory, Alva improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Goldbugs travel to Blackwell (Blackwell, OK) to play the Maroons in a 89er - West challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Maroons come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Blackwell lost 63-55 in their recent league challenge against Chisholm (Enid, OK)
Next up, the Maroons play the Alva Goldbugs (Alva, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Perry will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record.
