Illinois High School Basketball - Andrew crushes Oak Forest
December 15, 2023: Oak Forest, IL 60452 Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Oak Forest Bengals (Oak Forest, IL), 56-25 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Andrew upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Thunderbolts host Lemont (Lemont, IL) to clash with the Lemont HS in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Lemont HS go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Lemont won 60-57 in their recent non-league bout against Lane Tech (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Bengals clash with the Horizon Science Academy-Southwest Huskies (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Oak Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 82-20 league win over Urban Prep-Englewood (Chicago, IL).
