Virginia High School Basketball - Patrick Henry can't hold off Atlee
December 15, 2023: Mechanicsville, VA 23116 The Atlee Raiders basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Patrick Henry Patriots to 44 in the Raiders league triumph on Friday.
The Raiders now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Armstrong for a Capital contest on Tuesday, December 19. Atlee will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 76-41 league loss to Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-3.
The Patriots (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against J.R. Tucker (Henrico, VA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, J.R. Tucker was nudged by Freeman (Richmond, VA), 63-53, in a league contest.
