The Battle Mountain Longhorns topped the host Oasis Academy Bighorns basketball team by a final score of 62-48 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Longhorns face the Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV) in a 2A Northern game, on Saturday, December 16. Battle Mountain will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 1-4 record after their 50-42 league loss to West Wendover (West Wendover, NV).

With the defeat, Oasis Academy moves to 2-3 on the year. The Bighorns host West Wendover (West Wendover, NV) to face the Wolverines in a 2A Northern game on Saturday, December 16. The Wolverines enter the game with a record of 4-4. West Wendover won 50-42 in their recent league game against Yerington (Yerington, NV)
