The Carver Tigers basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Shaw Raiders to 54 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jordan for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19.

The Raiders (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Russell County (Seale, AL). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Russell County triumphed over Booker T. Washington (Tuskegee, AL), 73-50, in a non-league contest.
