Kentucky High School Basketball - Russell County tops Clinton County
December 15, 2023: Russell Springs, KY 42642 Russell County Lakers (Russell Springs, KY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Clinton County Bulldogs (Albany, KY), 76-68 in a league bout.
With the victory, Russell County upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to Pleasure Ridge Park (Louisville, KY) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Pleasure Ridge Park lost 62-46 in their recent non-league bout against Fern Creek (Louisville, KY)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Todd County Central Rebels (Elkton, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Clinton County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Rebels come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 68-50 non-league win over Jo Byrns (Cedar Hill, TN).
