The South River Rams (South River, NJ) basketball knocked off the host Metuchen Bulldogs (Metuchen, NJ), 74-63 in Friday's league test.

The Rams (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Sayreville (Parlin, NJ). The Bombers go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Sayreville notched a victory over Edison (Edison, NJ), 67-55, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Highland Park for a non-league test on Saturday, December 16. Metuchen will encounter a Owls squad coming off a 79-44 league win over Somerset Tech (Bridgewater, NJ). The Owls record now stands at 1-0.
