Iowa High School Basketball - Nevada fells South Hamilton
December 15, 2023: Nevada, IA 50201 Nevada Cubs (Nevada, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting South Hamilton Hawks (Jewell, IA), 67-52 in a league bout.
With the win, Nevada upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Cubs travel to Roland-Story (Story City, IA) to play the Norsemen in a Heart of Iowa - Large bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Norsemen go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Roland-Story won 41-38 in their recent league bout against Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA)
Next up, the Hawks play the Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA) in a Heart of Iowa - Large bout, on Tuesday, December 19. South Hamilton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 41-38 league loss to Roland-Story (Story City, IA).
