Ohio High School Basketball - Northwest fells St. Joseph Central

December 15, 2023: Ironton, OH 45638

Northwest Mohawks (McDermott, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host St. Joseph Central Flyers (Ironton, OH), 61-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northwest upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Mohawks host South Webster (South Webster, OH) to play the Jeeps in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Jeeps go into the bout with a record of 3-0. South Webster won 77-54 in their recent non-league bout against Belpre (Belpre, OH)

Next up, the Flyers play the Rose Hill Christian Royals (Ashland, KY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. St. Joseph Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
