Illinois High School Basketball - Reed-Custer thwarts Peotone
December 15, 2023: Braidwood, IL 60408 The Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Peotone Blue Devils (Peotone, IL), 41-32 in Friday's league test.
The Comets (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Somonauk (Somonauk, IL). The Bobcats go into the non-league test with a 5-3 record.
The Blue Devils now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Westmont for a non-league test on Saturday, December 16. Peotone will encounter a Sentinels squad coming off a 59-58 league win over Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL). The Sentinels record now stands at 10-1.
