Illinois High School Basketball - Peotone crushes Herscher
February 13, 2024: Peotone, IL 60468 Peotone Blue Devils (Peotone, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Herscher Tigers (Herscher, IL), 71-46 in a league bout.
With the win, Peotone upgrades its record to 10-18 on the season. The Blue Devils host Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL) to play the Comets in a Illinois Central 8 bout on Monday, February 19. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 9-20. Reed-Custer lost 52-38 in their recent league bout against Lisle (Lisle, IL)
Next up, the Tigers play the Dwight Trojans (Dwight, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 15. Herscher will attempt to upgrade on its 6-22 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 7-22 record after their 55-31 non-league loss to Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL).
