In Friday's non-league test, the visiting Castle View Sabercats ice hockey team scored a tight 4-3 win over the Monarch Coyotes.

The Sabercats (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Chatfield (Littleton, CO). The Chargers enter the 5A South test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Chatfield was nipped by Heritage (Littleton, CO), 4-3, in a league test.

Next up, the Coyotes encounter the Valor Christian Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) in a 5A Metro test, on Saturday, December 16. Monarch will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record.
