Kansas High School Basketball - Central fells Central

Central Mustangs (Salina, KS) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Central Jaguars (Andover, KS), 70-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Central upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Andover (Andover, KS) to play the Trojans in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail II bout on Friday, January 7. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 4-1.

Next up, the Jaguars play the Hutchinson Salthawks (Hutchinson, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 4. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Salthawks go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 56-31 non-league win over South (Salina, KS).
