December 16, 2021: Paxton, IL 60957 Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers (Paxton, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Rantoul Eagles (Rantoul, IL), 49-30 in a league bout.
With the win, Paxton-Buckley-Loda upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley (Gibson City, IL) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Monday, December 20. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley won 44-15 in their recent non-league bout against Blue Ridge (Farmer City, IL)
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs (Mahomet, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 22. Rantoul will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 11-1 record after their 61-49 league loss to Taylorville (Taylorville, IL).
