The Nottingham Northstars basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Allentown Redbirds to 45 in the Northstars league triumph on Friday.

The Northstars now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Princeton Day for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Nottingham will battle a Panthers team coming off a 60-48 non-league win over West Windsor-Plainsboro North (Plainsboro, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.

The Redbirds (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame (Lawrenceville, NJ). The Irish enter the Colonial Valley contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Notre Dame triumphed over East Brunswick (East Brunswick, NJ), 60-41, in a non-league contest.
