Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Marian Catholic Spartans (Chicago Heights, IL), 46-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Benet Academy upgrades its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Redwings travel to Jefferson (Brooklyn, NY) to play the Orange Wave in a non-league bout on Monday, December 19. The Orange Wave come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Jefferson won 74-57 in their recent non-league bout against Devon Prep (Devon, PA)

Next up, the Spartans play the Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 23. Marian Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record.
