In Friday's league match, the visiting Northwood Chargers basketball team scored a decisive 73-26 triumph over the Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves.

In their next game, the Chargers meet the Millbrook Wildcats (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 17. Northwood will attempt to better on its 8-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 6-1 record after their 84-51 non-league win over Broughton (Raleigh, NC).

With the defeat, Cedar Ridge moves to 3-6 on the year. The Fighting red wolves host Orange (Hillsborough, NC) to meet the Panthers in a 3A Conference 25 match on Tuesday, January 3. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 8-3.
