Illinois High School Basketball - Crab Orchard tops Edwards County
December 16, 2022: Marion, IL 62959 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Crab Orchard Trojans (Marion, IL) and the visiting Edwards County Lions (Albion, IL), saw Crab Orchard's basketball team achieve victory over Edwards County by a tally of 62-47.
The Trojans now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elverado for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 20. Crab Orchard will battle a Falcons team coming off a 56-38 league win over Egyptian (Tamms, IL). The Falcons record now stands at 5-5.
The Lions (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Gallatin County (Junction, IL). The Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Gallatin County dropped by Webber (Bluford, IL), 56-38, in a non-league battle.
