Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Deer Lakes Lancers (Russellton, PA) and the host Ligonier Valley Rams (Ligonier, PA), saw Deer Lakes's basketball squad wallop Ligonier Valley by a tally of 88-46.

With the victory, Deer Lakes improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Lancers host Derry (Derry, PA) to play the Trojans in a WPIAL 3A 3 challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Derry won 81-68 in their recent non-league challenge against Greensburg Salem (Greensburg, PA)
