In Friday's non-league outing, the Georgetown Eagles (Georgetown, TX) basketball squad nipped the host Liberty Hill Panthers (Liberty Hill, TX), by a margin of 58-56.

The Eagles (12-5) will now prepare for their outing against Pflugerville Connally (Austin, TX). The Cougars go into the 5A Region III District 23 outing with a 11-8 record. In their last outing, Pflugerville Connally got by Burnet (Burnet, TX), 61-49, in a non-league outing.
