Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Pflugerville Connally Cougars (Austin, TX) and the visiting Georgetown Eagles (Georgetown, TX), saw Pflugerville Connally's basketball squad hold off Georgetown by a count of 65-59.

With the victory, Pflugerville Connally upgrades its record to 20-8 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Elgin (Elgin, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 5A Region III District 23 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 6-21. Elgin lost 65-49 in their recent league challenge against East View (Georgetown, TX)
