The Washington Prexies basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting McGuffey Highlanders to 44 in the Prexies league triumph on Friday.

The Prexies now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Charleroi for a WPIAL 3A 4 contest on Tuesday, December 20. Washington will meet a Cougars team coming off a 58-51 non-league loss to Jefferson-Morgan (Jefferson, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-3.

The Highlanders (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Salem (Salem, MA). The Witches enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
