December 16, 2022: Wakefield, MA 01880 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Wakefield Memorial Warriors (Wakefield, MA) and the visiting Wilmington Wildcats (Wilmington, MA), saw Wakefield Memorial's basketball squad wallop Wilmington by a tally of 70-41.
With the victory, Wakefield Memorial improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Arlington (Arlington, MA) to play the Spy Ponders in a Middlesex challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Spy Ponders come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Arlington lost 57-52 in their recent league challenge against Lexington (Lexington, MA)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Winchester Red & Black (Winchester, MA) in a Middlesex challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. Wilmington will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Red & Black come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 55-54 league win over Belmont (Belmont, MA).
