Massachusetts High School Basketball - Burlington holds off Wakefield Memorial
February 10, 2023: Burlington, MA 01803 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Burlington Red Devils (Burlington, MA) and the visiting Wakefield Memorial Warriors (Wakefield, MA), saw Burlington's basketball squad hold off Wakefield Memorial by a tally of 64-59.
With the victory, Burlington improves its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Red Devils travel to Wilmington (Wilmington, MA) to confront the Wildcats in a Middlesex challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 2-16. Wilmington lost 67-54 in their recent league challenge against Melrose (Melrose, MA)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Watertown Red Raiders (Watertown, MA) in a Middlesex challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Wakefield Memorial will attempt to improve on its 14-2 season record. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 54-51 non-league loss to Chelsea (Chelsea, MA).
