North Carolina High School Basketball - Marvin Ridge overwhelms Parkwood
December 16, 2022: Monroe, NC 28112 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) and the host Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC), saw Marvin Ridge's basketball squad wallop Parkwood by a tally of 56-22.
With the victory, Marvin Ridge improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC) to battle the Pirates in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 3. The Pirates come into the battle with a record of 2-5. Porter Ridge won 51-38 in their recent non-league battle against Forest Hills (Marshville, NC)
The Wolf Pack (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Sun Valley (Monroe, NC). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Sun Valley trounced Monroe (Monroe, NC), 47-35, in a non-league battle.
